Jon Gingell is a founder member of OpenSymmetry and is responsible for business operations in EMEA. After helping to establish OpenSymmetry from inception in the USA during 2004, Jon went on to co-found the UK company in 2006 and continues to lead business operations through sustainable, profitable growth, including expansion of operations into the wider EMEA region and Australia. Jon also plays a leading role in technology development within the company.
Jon has a strong technical background in the SPM industry with over 10 years of engineering and consulting experience preceded by a career in scientific research. Having unparalleled problem solving skills combined with an ability to gain swift insight into abstract concepts, Jon can quickly comprehend complex systems allowing for rapid application of value-added expertise.
Well travelled, having worked with diverse clients spanning 5 continents, Jon holds a BSc Honours degree in Physics with Space Science from University College London and a PhD in Physical Chemistry also from UCL.
Mark Kemp joined OpenSymmetry in 2005 and co-founded the UK company during 2006. Mark is responsible for managing the consulting implementation services in EMEA and he also leads our managed service division.
Mark has 10 years experience in managing and delivering successful implementations of enterprise business software applications for blue chip organisations worldwide, including HSBC, ING, Vodafone Group and Barclays.
Prior to joining OpenSymmetry, Mark worked for Callidus Software in Australia where he managed the technical presales activities. Mark helped to grow the business from inception to become the established leader in Sales Performance Management software in the Asia Pacific region with notable client gains at DBS and HSBC.
Mark holds a BSc Honours degree in Biotechnology from the University of Birmingham and a PhD in Food Process Engineering also from the University of Birmingham.
Ray Wells joined OpenSymmetry in 2007 and is responsible for the delivery of implementation and support services in EMEA. Ray has 10 years of blue chip consulting experience in project delivery and systems integration within the banking, telco and insurance sectors. He brings a wealth of project management and implementation experience and his primary focus at OpenSymmetry is to ensure that every project is delivered efficiently and to a very high standard.
Ray has worked worldwide with many organisations including Barclays, UBS, Reuters, Westpac and Standard Life. He has an incredible capacity for complex problem solving and customer advocacy which has created a strong relationship with all of our existing customers.
Ray holds a BAI Honours degree in Engineering from Trinity College Dublin where he specialised in Computing and Electronics. He also holds a BA in Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin.
John Stuart joined OpenSymmetry in 2008, bringing considerable experience in growing businesses by clearly focusing their sales strategies, market positioning, messaging and communications. John is responsible for business development in EMEA and Asia Pacific.
With a background in both blue chip enterprise management and entrepreneurial ventures, John has worked in the telecommunications and professional services market for nearly 15 years. Since recently returning to Europe after a long spell in Asia Pacific, John has held director level positions in some of the region's largest and fastest growing technology and communication companies including Singtel Optus and gotalk, a top 200 private communications provider in Australia and New Zealand.
John is an active marketing professional who keeps current with latest developments through membership of institutions such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. John holds a BA Honours degree in Business Studies from Napier University of Edinburgh and a Masters Degree in Project Management from Heriot-Watt University.
Anthony Hutchins is responsible for sales at OpenSymmetry, having joined the company in 2009. He has over 10 years of Sales Performance Management experience with a deep understanding of how to drive enterprise performance through effective software implementation. He has a proven track record in selling and delivering SPM solutions to companies from all industries around the globe, having spent time working in EMEA, Asia and the USA.
Prior to joining OpenSymmetry Anthony worked at Callidus Software, one of OpenSymmetry's solution partners, for seven years where he last held the position of PreSales Director in EMEA and APAC. Anthony possesses the ability to deliver a vision for any organisation wishing to optimise its sales performance and help to deploy the right technology to support that vision.
Anthony holds a BSc Honours degree in Computer Information Systems Design from Kingston University.
Mark Van Daele is based in Belgium and since joining the company in 2009 he acts as a Senior Manager of Strategic Consulting for OpenSymmetry with a focus on the delivery of large projects across EMEA and the development of the Benelux market.
Mark has more than 10 years of consulting experience with large blue chip organisations. He has managed some of the largest Incentive Compensation Projects in Europe across the telecommunications, banking, insurance and pharmaceuticals verticals and is widely regarded as an authority in the Incentive Compensation field. Prior to joining OpenSymmetry, Mark was Client Services Director for Santorini covering the EMEA region.
Mark holds a degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from Antwerp University.
Jon Clark joined OpenSymmetry in 2009 and is responsible for Reward Consulting. He has 24 years experience as a Reward/HR practitioner and consultant working on UK-based and international projects. Prior to joining OpenSymmetry, Jon led the Deloitte Strategic Employee Reward offering in the UK with a small expert team.
Jon works with Chief Executives, HRDs and Heads of Reward to design total reward strategy solutions, pay and grading structures, incentive scheme design including salesforce incentives and performance management systems. Jon's reward consulting experience is cross-sector and includes working with companies like Barclaycard, Aviva, Siemens, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Aston Martin and leading professional services firms.
Jon's wider HR consulting experience includes organisation design, change management, leadership development initiatives and HR policy and practice development.
Jon holds a Masters degree in HR Management and is a member of the CIPD.
